Hello, I'm Laura Cavanagh, and I'm passionate about the magic that happens when children fall in love with books. I started The Lupine Library with a simple belief: every child deserves a story that feels made just for them.
I was labeled as struggling to read when I was very young, but then I fell in love with beautiful picture books and dug deep into non-fiction masterpieces. My reading journey was fostered by people who understood that every child has their own path.
Why "Lupine"? Inspired by the children's Barbara Cooney's beloved book "Miss Rumphius" and its invitation to leave the world more beautiful. Lupines start small, grow strong, and brighten their surroundings — much like young readers discovering confidence and joy.
